  1. As far as I know, only a couple of the very high end cruise lines include liquor in the basic fare.

As far as "gifting", I have no idea what you mean.  Certainly, you can buy yourself a present...

  2. YES you can gift yourself, but on most cruise lines its wines and not many liquor options.  Its very simple and I do this occasionally.  After you book your cruise and know your reservation number you go online to the cruise line's web site and click on the tab/link that takes you to on-board gifts.  From there you select the "wine & spirits" tab/link and it will let you purchase wine for dinner and/or your cabin.  Some sights, like Princess will let you also purchase small bottles of liquor in a package, like rum and a couple cans of coke, or scotch and soda.  But for the most part these site/cruise lines limit your purchase options to wine.

I have used the Royal Caribbeans and Celebrity sites several times.  This is RC's:  http://www.royalcaribbean.com/giftcatalo...

This page is really hard to find on the Princess site, but here it is:  http://www.princess.com/learn/onboard/se...
