How do you raise a monkey?

Question

Dogs go on walks cats have litter boxes what about monkeys??? do they need special things, if so what?!? im trying to make my mom belive i can handle one. ( If it matters Spider monkey)

If you have to ask such a broad question, you don't need one!

Monkeys are not pets, they are wild animals... and VERY difficult to keep happy and healthy. You need to do a ton of research and read lots of books and visit people who have monkeys before even considering it. Hopefully, everything you read and hear will talk you out of it!

what mom would let you have one those things they're temperamental?   I mean they can be house broken, but I see if they sell those special diapers that dogs have for monkeys as well. They eat fruits, vegetables, pasta, breads and rice and it's not recommended to  feed them chocolate, avocado or other pet foods.  And you can teach them one or two tricks, (like dancing). My dad had one when he was little but he was from south america and they're common there, If you live in the U.S., few states would let you have one, but if you did get one try to create some kind of tropical jungle in your back yard for it and don't seclude in the house. They like to roam around.

I want one too except I want a marmoset (A super fuzzy/tiny monkey) I don't have one yet because I don't have enough money for one. But I also have no idea how to raise one, another reason I don't have one yet.

I would say you should google it to find out. I think I'll just get a hedgehog instead, that seems a lot easier/cheaper than a monkey anyway

well see a monkey cannot just be raised in a house and eat bananas. monkeys are wild animals and they will not be happy unless they live free in a jungle. if you see monkeys on tv that live with humans or in a circus etc..., those are trained under professionals and believe me monkeys are not easy to train like dogs and cats.

the only way i would get a real monkey is if i had a huge house with a jungly looking backyard and i would do some research on how to raise them and everything.

You're not allowed to raise a monkey. They're wild animals and are not tamed.
