How do you rate the dazzle video creator - platinum edition?

I want to transfer Hi-8 video from my camcorder using the s-video lead on to my computer to create dvds, but I don`t want to loose the crystal clear/sharp quality that is on the Hi-8 tapes. Does anyone know if the Dazzle products are up to the job (in particular the Platinum edition), or is there something better I could use?

I dont like anything dazzle makes, I tried them before,

I like Adaptec Videoh products, I have good luck with them!

Personally I don't think much of Dazzle, if you want to do the job properly then use Ulead videostudio 11, you can download a free 14day unrestricted trial from www.corel.co.uk & try it out. I've tried nearly all of the editing software over the last 20 years or so but in my opinion Ulead can't be beaten & it's a lot cheaper than most of the others.
