I am a mother of three toddlers (2-3-4) and a newborn. (LOL) I am constantly challenged on methods to keep them busy, happy, entertained, independent and sometimes quiet. I have a son and three daughters, two of which are the toddlers (2-3). These kids attend preschool/daycare like normal school. Once home they won't leave me alone, they whine, hit, run up and down the halls, slam doors, scream, complain, etc....How can I bring peace and happinesss for them and for myself and the new baby until bedtime which is at 8pm daily.....

  1. I would suggest more structure have things for them to do when they get home some of the ladies made really good suggestion and make a time frame for this activity then snack time do your shopping on certain days with some of them or all.

  2. When you get a good answer on this one e-mail it to me cuz I have two terrors I mean toddlers a 19mth old girl and a 3yr old boy turning 4 in October and my boyfriends 8mth old baby boy so might as well say three kids! My hats off to you, you have four stare steps...now thats what I call a Super Woman! I still wear my "S" but you are working it..go head super mom!..lol ;)

  3. When they get home, have some applesauce waiting for them. They'll lighten up when they see food. Then let them sit down on the floor with a couple of toys. (Trucks, dolls, etc.) Turn on some Dora the Explorer or Blues Clues. If they get tired, let them take a nap until dinner. They cook dinner, and if you want to, some dessert, like maybe some strawberries. Then, let them go into their rooms and play by themselves in their rooms. Tell them a story, and go to sleep youself.

  4. that only brings evil that little is more right then u might think

  5. Ok well mine are 2-4 an newborn you can not get them to leave you alone lol. Seriously though you cant you need to find things to do with them like  if you want ot relax watch a movie with them get excited and say lets watch a movie guys lets watch Nemo! or what ever just show that you want to and they will be excited to do it with you. If you have a dollar store close buy get them so Pre-K workbooks and let the do some "homework" my kids love it  just to sit there and draw in them Foam beads from Walmart and some Yarn or those foam stickers and some poster boards are great to keep them busy and they love to cook try getting a cook book for kids and parents to cook together
