How do you re-fit the side drive chains to a hart speedor?

the correct proceedure of re-fitting the side drive chains on an industrial hart fast operating roller door (canvas curtain) should the door be open or closed. should you pre-tension the side gear wheels first?

The door should be closed, and it should be pretentioned.  That's the way to go.  Good luck.  Read the manual too.
