  1. you can do it by one of 3 ways.

    1. a large memory stick, at least 700mb

    2. server

3.download image, then mount to daemon tools

  2. Boot a LiveCD off a USB, then go online and download XP (Legally) and mount it to a virtual drive with Daemon Tools, and install.

  3. well, my friend has made a flashdisk allowing to install XP from the flashdisk... but I'd suggest you get an External Cd-ROM somewhere connect it, insert the CD and boot from that device. That's how I installed XP on my Asus EeePC.

  4. That could be a tough one.  Compaq is known to sometimes restrict methods of OS installation.

Often the only way is from a USB CD/DVD external drive that the BIOS has been set to recognize (ie. only Compaq branded units :-(  )

You could try the methods suggested by other posts here and maybe you'll be lucky.  The easiest would be the USB memory stick but there's no guarantee it will work.

Ther server installation method usually will work, but it somewhat clumsy.  There were fairly detailed instruction on how to do this here:

Hopefully this works for you, but honestly the easiest way is to buy an external DVD-ROM.

  5. insert the disk into a computer or laptop which has a cd drive, then insert a memory stick, preferably 8GB. Then open the cd file from my computer and copy all of the files from the cd onto the flash memory stick, then insert the stick into your tablet....that's what i did :D

    x good luck

  6. The only way is either from a server or a large memory stick
