How do you re-set the odometer in a 1996 Volvo 850 to read miles traveled instead of kilometers traveled?

My son's car had a problem with the speedometer and odometer one day. It appeared stuck for a minute or two, then the speedometer worked again, correctly registering the speed in mles per hour. However, the odometer seems to be recording kilometers driven, as opposed to miles now. Is there a re-set button somewhere. The mechanics at his shop never heard of this before, and can't seem to figure it out.

that car could be a Canadian bought/sold model and has that feature,,, in the manual there should be a term to tell U how to switch it back being the cluster is digital,,, Pull the odometer trip button and twist,,,
