It's very nice to  see our neighbours here and so much easier than standing on the cliffs at Dover shouting questions  to the folks in France, that usually makes my throat sore after a couple of hours! Vive la France, vive Yahoooo!

That entirely depends on the nature of the intervention.  If it consists of an interesting point of view and makes a positive contribution then I for one welcome it.
