Question:

How do you react to road raging kids?

I ask because it seems like the kids are learning it from their parents. I watched a blonde kid in a white up pick truck cut off people in lanes next to me. He acted like they had done him harm or antagonized him.

Then he saw me and proceeded to squeeze inbetween my car and another truck in front of me. There wasn't enuff room. I was told because the area is predominantly upper income the kids have learned a sense of " the road is mine" mentality. -generally these are teen kids.. their parents have bought them very expensive high end vehicles.

  1. The kids may drive like idiots but the main problem is usually people who drive slow in the left-hand lanes that are supposed to be passing lanes for faster traffic.  Unfortunately since there are idiots out there who refuse to move out of the passing lane without passing you will encounter these unsafe kids often. The best thing to do is to stay alert and be aware of your surroundings so that you will have time to react to avoid an accident. Try to stay in the far right lane if you are not passing anyone on the right  and if you have to use the left lane than increase your speed to match it with the traffic in front of you even if they are going over the speed limit. Always continue to keep a safe distance and pay attention to what's going on around you and you will be able to avoid any type of accident.

  2. Buy a BIG truck..... no body is stupid enough to cut me off.

But i'd love to park my truck on top of some little rich punk who did.

  3. I know what you mean. I live in Southern California and there are so many rich teens out there with brand new cars. And I'm not talking Hyundais and Toyotas, I mean BMWs, Lexus, Mercedes, etc. They most certainly learn their bad driving habits from their parents, and what's more is they don't have a sense of pride in their vehicle b/c they didn't work hard for it or pay for it. Usually I just ignore those stupid kids. I'm a firm believer in karma, and they haven't been taught real-life skills, so one day it's going to come back and bite them in the ***.

  4. For safety sake, you don't react to it. Nowadays it seems that the best policy is to ignore it. Try to have self control, slow down and give that person plenty of room. It's to dangerous to do anything  else. Above all don't let it bother you, it's par for the course in today's driving. Good luck.

  5. just do this, get their liscense plate number, make and model of car and call non emergency police number telling them they are driving drunk or throwing beer bottles out the car, that always gets us hunt 'em down

  6. Next time I would get his tag number and call the police. After a few tickets maybe his rich mommy and daddy will take his keys away until he learns to be a more responsible driver.

  7. Call 911 and report them, plain and simple, no harm and no foul.
