  1. go see a doc  now!

  2. You need them removed! BIG TIME. It happened to me and I almost passed out because I couldn't breathe because they do close on you.

  3. To be honest you should go to the doctors I heard something like you have to have three tonsil infections in a row to have the tonsils out. So if you have been suffering the past six months or so you need to go to the doc's to sort it out - the quicker you go the better you will get.

  4. I am a CMA

They know when you end up with strep one too many times or what you just explained. You should call your doctor. More than likely you will be scheduled for a tonsillectomy real soon... FYI strep untreated can affect other body parts including the kidneys. My daughter got ill and the doctor said she didn't have strep just a cold. Strep went untreated for a month. She became really ill a month later. I took her to the ER she had strep and they actually found out that her first strep was positive.. It attacked her kidneys and now she has kidney disease

  5. Your condition sounds like it requires a tonsillecotomy. Unremitiing tonsillitis is a clear indication for tonsillectomy. Other typical indications for your tonsils to be removed include, more than 4 episodes in a year, more than 3 episodes a year for 2 years. Asymmetrical tonsils, enlarged tonsils causinf snoring and a few other uncommon indications. Go see an ENT doctor, he'll be able to determine if you need them removed.
