Question:

How do you reattach glasses arms?

I took the screws out of the glasses arms and now I can't get them back in. The holes do not line up and the hinge will not budge. Ideas? Do not take the screws out yourself to tighten them. You can't put them back like you think you can.

  1. I did a impromptu method of attaching the arms back. It basically requires a few items and good hand dexterity.

    Items needed:
    1. Sewing pin, or anything that is thin and strong.
    2. s***w driver.
    3. s***w.

So I basically attached the arm back into the frame, with the pin, I inserted it through the bottom of the holes up to the magnetic hole. If your right handed, using your left hand, hold the frames and bend the pin back so that the holes align. Do not it insert the pin past the three holes. With that, just simply use your right hand, put the s***w into the top hole, and work it in. The s***w is small and hard to get it steadied, but it took me about 15 minutes.
