How do you recalc your original purchase price after a 4:3 split.

lets say I bought 15 shares of a company at 13.39 and then it splits 4:3 I know I now have 20 shares but(for tracking purposes) I cant seem to figure out how to calc my now split adjusted purchase price.

  1. 4:3 = 4/3.  So 4 divided by 3 = 1.33.    15 shares split 4:3 then = 15 x 1.3333.....

    edit:  After the split the adjusted purchase price?   Your 20 shares are worth market value.  Your purchase price stays the same @ 13.39 for 15 shares, you just have more now.   I'm not sure what you mean by that, but hopefully you are just trying to figure out how the 20 is derived.
