How do you record a phone conversation?

Depends on what kind of phone you're using. For me, I just turn on voice recorder on my phone during phonecalls and it'll record the conversation.

Get a tape recorder, put the phone to the recorder or put it on speakerphone and press the record button. the recorder will be recording the conversation but you have to keep the phone close enough to the recorder so it could record.

They make a telephone microphone which has a suction cup that attaches to the phone's headset. Get it at an electronics stores such as Radio Shack. In America, you must inform the other party the call is being recorded, or "may" be recorded for "quality assurance", or have a telephone that beeps on the line at regular intervals.
