How do you record off the tv?

I'm trying to play a video from the camcorder onto the TV and record it from the TV onto VHS but it is not working. How do I need to set it up so it'll work?

vhs?  why not just cut out each cell and make a flip book, i'm sure the quality would be even better.  any ways, just take it to any store with a kodak developing center and you can have your video transferred to a dvd.

Without knowing the specific types of equipment you have, what kinds of connections they offer or how you currently have them hooked up, the best I can do is this: You'll probably have better luck connecting the camcorder straight to the VCR and connecting the VCR to the TV. That way you should be able to push play on the camcorder and record on the VCR and watch it on the TV.
