How do you recover from a drunk dial?!

god i am such an @ss! i drunk dialed a guy that i have been talking to and i have no idea what i said but he hasnt talked to me in like 3 days. i wish i could say that this is a rare occurance, but no so much, basically i am pretty sure that all i said was that i wanted him to come visit me, but i am scared that i said something stupid. how do you guys to recover from such a flub! i am an idiot

Well call him up and tell him you were completely wasted. That's where I start off. Then you ask him to tell you what you said, and laugh and be like idk even know why I said that. And if it's a dude who doesn't agree with the drinkin lifestyle make up a story about how somebody died and the only comfort you thought you had was the bottle, and once you realized it wasnt a comfort say you called someone you trusted to talk to you. And then apologize alot, and pray you don't call your mom and get yourself grounded.

Just text him...and say you were drunk and ask him if you said anything stupid...

Call him up and apologize.  Leave a message if he won't pick up. Mention that you don't remember what you said and you were drunk at the time.  Tell him it's not the first or the last time you've done something dumb like this, and he shouldn't think it's such a big deal.

haha i have this problem all the time. Just ask if you did anything wrong and see what he says. if it is because of something u said when u called him drunk just tell him your sorry but you dont remember and you obviously didn't mean it or just act like you have no idea that it ever happened. and just try talking to him normal. or maybe hes not into drinking? that could be why he hasnt talked to you

Do what I do whenever i drink and dial. Just call and pretend the drunk call never happened. If they mention it deny all memory of it.

Unless the guy thinks that girls shouldn't be getting drunk or is just against alcohol in general, you just need to act normal, apologize, and move on.  He'll probably find it funny.

OTOH, if he is anti-booze, you probably won't hear from him.

That's known as a blackout. Alcohol is not a good idea in the future.
