  1. 72# then dial the number you want the call to forward to.. once the call is answered call forwarding is activated.. if the call is not answered, repeat the step one more time to confirm...

if 72# does not work in your area use *72.... to disable call forward its 73# or *73

you must subscribe to call forwarding from your local phone company..

  2. You have to buy the service.

Call Forwarding is what you ask for.

About $2.50 a month plus taxes,

You are dialing this code from you home tele aren't you?

Obviously You don't have something right.

    1. Be SURE you the service. I suggested!!

    2. Not all telco's use the same initiation codes

so you must get the correct codes.  They suggested.

We can't help you if you work with us.

    EDIT 2

I don't think he knows to follow instructions

He says he is only 14!!  What is he doing with a cell anyway?

  3. The feature *(Star) 72 will forward your calls.

Edit:  Generally the feature is included with most common packages. For example your package may include caller id, voicemail, call waiting, call forwarding, ect. IF you have the feature then *72 is what you would dial to set up forwarding. You may need to contact your carrier to see if you package includes call forwarding.

  4. Call your phone company. Some companies offer the service. Some don't. Some charge. Some don't. You'll have to call them for the correct information.
