Where do u go to reduce te MB in a photo on PSP8?

  1. You would have to turn the resolution (or DPI) down in order to cut back on space.  


  2. Some formats take more space for the same picture than others.  Use psp format if you're only going to open it in PSP.  If not, use png.  bmp is large, tif is about the largest.  Reducing the size (horizontal and vertical size) of the picture also reduces the file size.

  3. Go to Image menu, Resize, and change the values there, if applicable. It could be either the size of the image or the resolution. For computer screens 72 dpi is OK, but if you want to print an image go for at least 200 dpi.

    Or if you made an image in PSP you can go to File menu, Export to JPG-optimiser or PNG-optimiser. That changes the file size too.
