I have gigantic bags. How can I reduce the size and the puffiness? I sleep about 9 hours a day, and the spoon trick doesn't really do much for me.

  1. 1.sleep less.

    nine hours is too much.

i sleep about six to seven hours and i have no bags.

    2.ventilate your sleeping area.

breathe fresh air as you sleep.

3.try not to eat or drink anything about 2-3hours b4 bedtime.

  2. I just had oral surgery and I switched my facial cleansers...I wake up with a swollen (baggy) eye...I don't know why its there..But it has to do with one of them..But I put an ice pack, wrapped in a paper towel, hold it there for maybe a minute and its gone. Hopefully it will work for you.

But I'm only fourteen...So I don't know if its the same issue...

  3. Drink more water.  Not pop, coffee, tea, but WATER.

Use Aminogenesis facial repair.  Best prices are on Ebay.

  4. spoon..trick..? lol take a day off and get a massage at a spa, relax and use a warm cloth over your eyes to relieve tension..that or go on a vacation with those bags XD

  5. you sleep TOO much

  6. you can try cold sliced cucumbers or potatos for home remedy, or you can get the garnier nutrise anti puff roller thing. i got it for those sleepless nights.... i like it :) but then again i dont know how serious these bags of yours are

  7. sleep more

  8. Sleep is one of them but apart from that anything coool is ment to stop them being so swollen. cucumbers work, if u put a slice of cucumber on each eye. concieler helps and there are plenty of things you can buy from shops that help get rid of bags. x

  9. There are a lot of very expensive products on the market that will shrink under-eye bags.  Their main ingredient is shark oil.  You can accomplish the same thing very cheaply with another product whose chief ingredient is also shark oil:  Preparation H.  Get the suppository form or the tube of cream; rub a little of either under your eyes and it WILL tighten the skin and reduce the bags.  I've done this for years.  It was one of the famous "cheap model's tricks" mentioned several years ago in one of the national women's magazines.  And, it Does work.

Also, you want to try not to sleep more than 7-8 hours per night.  Too much sleep is as unhealthy as too little sleep.

  10. I saw this ad in a newspaper for a serum from Garnier that is a roller-ball thing that has a caffeine formula in it. You roll it under your eyes and it supposedly takes away the bags.

Personally, what I do is a home-treatment thing. Similar to the cucumber thing over the eyes, I use slices of raw potatoes to cover the eyes. This takes away puffiness. Try it!

    Hope this has helped.

  11. Bags under your eyez as well as dark undereye circles are results of more than just not enough sleep. Factors such as genes, propper diet, as well as sleep, all affect your condition.  Here are some things u can do  to improve or even eliminate bags and dark cirles under your eyez:

    1. Eat right

    2. Sleep better

    3. Put cucumber slices over your eyez

    4. Visit a dermatologist, they now have a new injection procedure to eliminate your bags and undereye circles

  12. sometimes other things besides lack of sleep can cause bags under your eyes. I'm 30 and i have shadows under my eyes due to bad sinus's. if nothing over the counter helps ask your doctor

  13. Try Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti Puff eye roller. It's new and is said to get rid of under eye puffiness and dark circles.

  14. egg whites and some cucummmberors

  15. sleep with cucumbers on your eyes,

and a eye mask, so they dont fall off

    =]]]

or you could buy something 2 help at a drugstore

    =]]]

  16. more sleep

  17. A make up artist trick is to apply a small amount of haemmeroid cream to the bags and watch them dissappear, only do this the odd time though.

  18. Egg whites, cucumber, concealer.

  19. SLEEP!!!!!!

  20. First, suggest you either "hide" them with wearing glasses, or that you get liposuction, to remove the excess fatty tissue.

Once you get the these "bags", I don't think there is any treatment that can dissolve it, just temporarily tighten the skin, which soon stretches out again.

  21. Well i have bags under my eyes too and i put a spa mask on every night mainly around the eyes so you look like the TARGET dog before i go to sleep and wash it off when i wake up, do this for about a week and those bags will disappear. PS the spoon trick is a myth trust me.

  22. Sleep 12 hours a day.

  23. DO you have allergies cause allergies can cause really bad bags, so if that is the case, if you get that under control the bags should reduce in size by using some antihistamies

  24. If I knew...I am 15 years old, get plenty of sleep, but I am known for my characteristic bags. I have been told it is because of allergies (despite the fact that my only known allergy is latex) and that it runs in my family. Perhaps one day I will know, perhaps these answers will show me a solution, but, in the end, I don't really mind them. Thank you so much for asking this though, I can't wait to see if people have any helpful answers for you and me both. =)
