How do you refill a Method icon dish soap bottle?

I absolutely love Karim Rashid's design for Method's dish soap bottle, but I can't find it in Target anymore - just the newer packaging. How do you pop the cap off and if I do, will I be able to get it back on? It seems to be stuck on there pretty well!

Try heating the plastic lid in warm to hot water. Then pop lid off, keep lid in warm water while filling bottle.
