I am doing a school project in Technology. I want to make something based on the design of a mirror I saw. There where lights around all four sides and they reflected into a tunnel. I need to know how it was done but I cant work it out. I know the mirror wasn't bent because that would effect the reflection. Also I tried reflecting the lights between two mirrors at the sides but that didn't work either because the lights only reflected between the mirrors and not in a corridor in the center. Someone suggested that there were two mirrors with the lights in between them and the mirror in top was two-way but I wasn't sure if that would affect the reflection.

There is a picture of the mirror here but I'm afraid it isn't very good: http://www.bellabathrooms.co.uk/prod-galaxy_bathroom_mirror.html

  1. You need 2 mirrors, the one in the back is a regular mirror, and the one in the front is a half silvered (2-way) mirror.  The lights are along the sides, between the two mirrors.  The reflection of a person standing on front of the mirror will be slightly affected, since they will see themselves reflected from both mirrors.
