How do you reformat memory cards?

Question

When I turn on my camera it says I need to 'reformat the memory card'. Anybody know how to do this please?

Incase you need to know, the camera is a Kodak EasyShare DX6340. Any suggestions please, thank you.

In your cameras menu (usually found in the camera setup portion) there is a format feature ... use it.

ask someone at a store where they sell memory cards. a good store to go to and ask someone about that is best buy.
