  1. Some things to try:

    1. Sometime before your performance, blast some of your favorite music. It really takes your mind of off being nervous.

    2. Go into a corpse pose - meaning lay flat on your back, legs shoulder-width apart. You can either have your hands on your ribs or to your sides. And all you need to do is breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. You can even breathe out on an "S" sound to make sure that your getting a good breath every time.

    3. Treat yourself to something nice, like your favorite dessert. It will put you in a good mood.

    Hope these help! :)

  2. the only thing that works for me is to breathe very very deeply and slowly and to focus on a single thought that takes you to a good place (I think about laying on the sand alone with waves crashing, just an example). I completely tune everything out and focus on breathing until my heart rate slows to normal and I stop sweating :)

  3. There is not a "one size fits all" for relax, depends on you. Most of the times, yoga and breath exercises should work. Good luck!
