How do you remember a combination for a lock?

I am always forgetting and I need a good way to remember it...

I'd find a discrete and accessible place to write it down. If it's a bike lock I might write it on the underside of some part of the bike. If it's a school locker maybe on a rather hidden spot in the washroom.

To memorize it, turn it into a tune (like the empire carpet jingle or something) and sing it over and over as often as you can for a few days.

relate the numbers to something in your life. like a birth date of someone, house number, etc.

there are a bunch of diff ways to remember so don't stress. Some are kinds lame but help. Make up a song that sounds like your fav jam. That is the most fun way. Simpler ways? Got an agenda? Write it down there and bring it along everywhere. Adgendas help you keep track and remember all sorts of things. I highly suggest that. Good luck!

Well, I always had that problem every year when I get a new locker. You can write down your combination and put it in your purse or folder.. mainly something you carry everyday. This always helps =]
