1. The little sing-song rhyme my mother taught me as a kid.

"30 days has September, April, June, and November.. All the rest have 31, except February..28."

  2. Tuck your thumbs in and put your knuckles together. then each month is represented by either a knuckle or the space in between two knuckles. There is no space between July and August were your hands are meeting. The only other thing u gotta remember is that February has 28 days.

  3. i remember the knuckle way too!

lets see,...you have to count on your knuckles and between your knuckles for the months,.. like every odd month like February, April, June would be between your knuckles....(you would have knuckles left over because there's only 12 months)

  4. yep, I use the knuckle and gap thing.

The knuckle on your index finger is January

The gap between that knuckle and the next knuckle is Feb

    The next knuckle is March

The knuckle on your pinky is July; then you move back to the index knuckle for August, so you hit two knuckles in a row.

If you land on a knuckle, it's got 31 days. If you land on a gap between knuckles, it's got 30 except for Feb, which of course has either 28 or 29.

  5. I was taught a rhyme (kinda):

30 days has September, April, June, and November. All the rest have 31 (except February).

It starts off promising, then falls apart, but I've always been able to remember it.

  6. The knuckle way is that every knuckle that sticks out is 31 days. Every gap is 30 days (except for February). Just make two fists then stick them together and that's how you remember the days in each month. July and June both has 31 days.
