My family just got a puppy and today I'm supposed to take care of him because my mom's at work, my dad has work to do, and both my brothers are in school. I forgot once already and I don'

t want to forget again.

  1. You will not have any trouble remembering once you have to clean up after it a few more times.

You could set a wrist watch to go off every couple of hours.

  2. set a timer to go off every hour or two.

  3. watch your puppy.  after a nap or gets a drink, take out.

mine's older and now will get hyper and barking and biting at me if she wants to go out.  if i ignore her, she will go in sight and look at me and if i still don't get it, will use that spot.

  4. Take her out every time you think about it. Doesn't have to be every 30 minutes or anything that strict. You can't take that dog outside too much. Don't leave water out for her. She isn't going to die if she doesn't have water constantly. Every hour-ish, give her some water, and then no more than 20 min later, take her outside. She'll be ready to pee by then, it doesn't have far to go ;) She'll catch on quickly, her joy in life is to please you.

  5. Use a cell phone / alarm clock / timer and set it to remind you every hour or so.

And remind yourself that you don't want to be cleaning up the messes, so don't forget about that puppy!

  6. Set a timer for anywhere from 1 hour to about 2 hours at the most to take him outside.

  7. I just got a puppy 3 weeks ago, and after a few accidents, you'll remember. I try to take the puppy out, whenever she wakes in the morning or from and nap. And always before and after she eats, or before I have to put her into the kennel when I leave, and right when I return. Pretty much, every 2 hours or so.

I've noticed, she'll actually wait until she's outside to go now. And the last 3 days she has been accident free, and has even sleep through the night. Yeah!!!

  8. Get your mobile/alarm clock and put on the alarm every bathroom break or so. Keep it in your pocket as you stay busy?

  9. When Cubby was a baby, I'd set my alarm on my phone to go off.

  10. I love every new pup that comes into my house, how could I ever forget to take it outside?

Set an alarm clock if you cannot remember
