How do you remove Antivirus XP 2008 (not XP Antivirus 2008)?

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/malware-removal/remove-antivirus-xp-2008 has a download that says it will remove the program, but I am worried that it is just another program that will cause more harm to my computer. Is there any other way to get rid of it?

Bleeping computer is legit so no worries about what they have.  Still, I'd recommend using better programs then what they have.  Since Antivirus XP is pretty nasty, I would recommend going through a three step of guides.  Just follow them and your problems will be over:

1) Follow the specific removal guide for Antivirus XP:

2) Follow the generic virus removal guide.  It's a long guide but it's very good at clearing out all traces of viruses from the computer:

3) If things aren't back to normal (Start Menu missing buttons etc), then run the following fixes to get the system back to the way it should look:

That Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is %100 work. My friends use it everytime and never had any problem with it.
