I also added a bunch of picture files into the side bar by pushing command+t

I don't want to drag out each individual file with a puff of smoke.

but each time you click on a item in the side bar it opens the file.

so you can't just select multiple items at the same time and drag them all out at once.

what do i do!?!?!

  1. Unfortunately, you'll have to remove them one by one.  The sidebar/dock is really best suited for programs you access most often...not individual files.  It's similar to the Quick Launch bar on a Windows machine.  If you have a bunch of files you want to get to quickly, store them on the desktop or in a separate folder somewhere.  That way, you can just select them all at once and delete them.  But for things on the dock you'll have to delete one by one.
