How do you remove a Hog timing cover?

I bought some chromy goodies for my 98 Decker and one part was a timing cover. I thought the original was just bolted on but I see it has rivets. To get that off do you just drill out the rivets?

He is dead on with his answer. Be sure to use blue Locktight when you put the new cover on though or it may not be there when you get back from your first long ride.

drill out the rivits. You can use screws for your new one.
