How do you remove a battered s***w?

I always take the easy way out, I'll use my Dremel rotary tool and using one of the small cutting bits, I will carve a line so I can use a screwdriver.....LOL

use a s***w extractor

With pliers -- twist it until it comes loose.

Answer 4

I usel vice grips to clamp extra hard and do the grip while turning.  You can get a crushing grip that your hands can't stand with ordinary pliers.
