Question:

How do you remove a folder from a folder on your desktop?

I was trying to rearrange my icons and two of them went inside another folder. I'm not talking about DELETING it. Is there a simple way to undo that or do I have to re-create the folder all over again?

And my 7 year old daughter moved my Firefox icon altogether! How do I put it back?

  1. click on the folder and hold the mouse button down as you drag it out of the folder and back to the desktop or wherever it belongs.

  2. First problem:

    1. Click on the folder, either on your desktop or by opening it in Windows Explorer (Computer in Vista or My Computer in Windows XP).

    2. Drag the folders back out to your desktop or someplace else.

    Second problem:

    1. In Windows Explorer, navigate to this directory:

    C:\Programs\Mozilla Firefox\

    2. Right-click on the file Firefox.exe and drag it to your desktop.

    3. Select Create Shortcuts Here.

    Hope that helps.
