How do you remove an aftermarket cd player dash kit?

im not sure exactly what they are called but i need to take my cd player out of my car but i dont wanna mess up the plastic dash kit thats around it....does it just pull out or do i need one of those tool things or what?

Well i'm no expert but some pull out if u tug them. But if the kit is snapped in securely and has two sets of verticle holes then you'll need two key-like tools.

Te holes look like this...  :          : The keys are the shape of an A without the cross bar.

You push the key all the way in and then pull the kit towards you while the key is still in place.

it should be screwed in place look for large chrome screws they usually stand out

if not just look for the factory screws there should be 4 of them around the sides
