How do you remove antiperspirant's white marks from dark clothing?

The antiperspirant actually got on the clothing when trying it on and hasn't come off in the regular wash.

If you have succeeded to remove the white marks off of black or dark colors I really need your tips on how you did it.

(**The marks are not from sweating out antiperspirant causing yellowing that seems to be all I can gather from my internet search)

  1. Scrub it with a damp terry cloth towel and liquid detergent and rewash.

  2. Don't you hate that?  Try white vinegar and rinse with warm water--if the rest of the garment is clean, then just hang it up to dry.  Otherwise, try Spray N'Wash.

  3. I have just sprayed the area with white vinegar. Lightly rub it into the area. Then launder as usual.
