I've used a 3600 psi pressure washer before to remove such a pain in the but. If you have a heavy build upp you may have to scrape them off first. Hope this helps

fill with diesel to the brim  then drain into container  or if still running fill radiator , engine block   and run ten minutes  with diesel .
