How do you remove child lock on a DVR?

i accidently put child lock on my Sony DVR and now i cant remove it can someone plz help me thanks

  1. well on the Motorola boxes, you hit menu twice and it brings you to a setting screen. Once in there, go to settings and then to the child lock area. You might need a password though.
