How do you remove frosted glass spray from a window?

The previous owners of my place put that ugly frosted glass spray on one of the windows and I would like to remove it. I've searched online and theres lots of "how to make frosted privacy glass" but no how to remove it .... so Im turning to all you smart people - how in the world can I get it off the window??

try naphtha  or maybe alcohol. maybe even try some finger nail paint remover. or if all else fails get some new razor blade. keep the glass nice  and wet and gentle scrap off. should come right off glazier here

Acetome works great on this. You can buy a quart bottle for a couple dollars at a drug or beauty supply store. Soak a paper towel with acetone, stick it to the window for a few minutes, and use a scrubby sponge to get it off. Acetone is really drying, so wear rubber gloves.
