  1. I just take rub a little peanut butter on the gum and it starts dissolving the gum into little balls right away. Wipe it up with paper towels. Apply more peanut butter as needed. When you're done, put a laundry additive on the spot, let sit for 10 minutes, then wash. Don't put in the dryer until you know that everything is off. This worked great on my stepdaughter's comforter. Good luck!

  2. Peanut butter! Put a good sized amount of PB on the gum (when the clothing is wet) and let it sit for about 45-60 mins. Then soak the gum with detergent for about 20 mins and then wash it on a regular wash cycle

  3. hi there you poor thing just place ice on item and wait until gum freezes and goes hard and then pick it off best of luck :0)

  4. Chewing gum can be removed by first hardening the gum with an ice cube.

  5. Whitney  there are alot of different ways of removing gum. try

not to use any kind of chemical remover. sometimes the chemical stays within the fabric and may give u other problems. I find the best and easyist way is to put the garment in the freezer for about 30 minutes. remove it and the gum should crack right off or break apart. good luck

  6. Peanut butter it is the best it is also the best if it gets in hair too

  7. Put it in the freezer overnite, along with a hammer.  Then quickly bust up the gum with the hammer and brush away the crumbs, before they get soft and sticky again.  If you can use dry ice, so much the better -- but wear gloves!

Whatever gum remains should dissolve in citrus oil (orange oil, also called limonene).  You can buy orange oil online, or call around to janitor and office supply shops for 3M "6041" Adhesive Remover.
