Question:

How do you remove motor oil from a really nice blouse made of that micro fiber ?

Some way, motor oil got on my almost new blouse . I washed it , used the stain remover but to no avail. Would appreciate suggestions . Thank you

  1. Make a paste of baking soda and a liquid dish soap, such as Dawn. Apply it to the stain and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Launder as usual.


  2. I'm sorry but i think you have to get another blouse,or try to cover it up with a jacket!!! That's all I can think of

  3. My grandmother use to have issues with my uncles wiping their hands on dishtowles after they came in from working on a car. The only thing she found to take out the oil was Sunlight dishsoap. Put the soap directly on the stain..and scrub it in...my mother inlaw uses the detergent soap...along with the dishsoap...some how she can get things as clean as the day it was bought. I hope this helps!

  4. I hope you didn't dry it after washing it! The only thing that I have found that works is dawn dish soap. It has an oil buster in it.
