How do you remove permanent marker from a guitar?

I really need to remove some permanent marker from this old guitar!

Are there any ways to do this?

Dawn dish soap did it for me. If it's an electric, you're going to want to take out the hardware first. Of course, it takes time, but it seemed to do the trick for me.
