Me and my boyfriend stained his bedsheets.. we used I think an oil based lubricant. Now, it's all over his sheets and we can't remove it! He tried washing it in the washing machine 2x already!

I know there's a way how to remove this, but I'm just now sure how and what to use!! HELP!

  1. this may sound really lame.. *lol....

try Dawn dish liquid.  Just pour it directly on the spots and rub it in.  I actually dryed a tube of lipstick in the dryer w/ my clothes... but i applied some dawn and rubbed it in all of the spots... came out, surprisingly.

Tide brand actually has a detergent w/ dawn powerscrubbers if that tells you anyhing

Oxy clean spray stain remover is pretty good too.... try those.

Are the sheets white or off white???  try bleaching them......

    next time buy water based...haha*

  2. hmmm this is going out on a limb but maybe club soda or lemon juice.

like the person below said about the viegar that could work too i forgot about that you can use an old toothbrush to scrub the stains. Maybe baking soda would work

  3. you could always do it enough that all of that set of sheets are stained, then you wouldn't be able to tell.... i think your boyfriend would like that, and would enjoy helping you resolve your stain issue.

  4. Use white vinegar. It is a mild acid, so it removes tougher stains like deodorant and gum. Try the white vinegar like this:

*pour the vinegar directly onto the stain, rubbing the cloth together to help "scrub" the stain out.

    *wash normally with detergent

*make sure that the stain is out BEFORE drying! Drying can help set the stain.

    Good luck!
