Ok, this may sound silly but I'm actually being serious...

How do you remove the sticky stuff that stays on your arm (in my case) after a doctor places some surgical tape on it to keep an IV in place? I tried showering and rubbing it with a baby wipe but none of them seemed to have done the trick.

I want to try to remove it as painlessly as possible....

Any suggestions ???

  1. Rubbing alcohol.


  2. put rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab and just gentley rub at the sticky spot works like magic

  3. Try using baby oil. It generally works for the sticky stuff thatcomes offf bandages.

  5. put some baby oil on thr glue...and try not to get it onto the IV hole... it also works with band-aids :P
