  1. Avril buy Marble polish and be prepared to do lots of rubbing.  I would be very careful about what I use, if it does not say Marble on label I would not use it. Lowes & Homedepot have several products for Marble.

  2. Removing wine stains from marble is cutting edge. There has been no technology for professionals until just a year or two ago.

Do not waste your time with consumer products. Marble is porous and will pull the stain deep if not all the way through. Sealing your marble would have prevented this.

Or hire a professional who has removed wine stains. However, you may find no one has removed wine stains prior. Many do not know how to successfully remove it from marble. IT IS A SPECIALTY.

  3. Peroxide will remove red wine stains.

  4. Make a paste out of 1 cup water, 1/2 cup bleach, and 1/2 cup laundry detergent.

Put the past on the stain, scrub for about a minute, the let the past sit for about 5 minutes.

I use this on my granite counter tops, and it gets rid of the stains every time.
