How do you remove salt water from a fish tank

I don't think you can get it compleatly out,it absorbs into the silecone,some fish like a little salt in thier water.You could always use it for a rodent.

Silicone does not absorb salt.  The best thing to do is continually rinse it out and fill it with freshwater.  This will dilute the salt concentration until a hydrometer registers it as freshwater.  If there aren't any fish in it, just suck out all the water, take it out into the yard, and hose it down.
