  1. you can use this stuff called brasso but toothpaste works just as good and is very easy to come by...both are pretty cheap.  what you want to do is put a little dab on a old t-shirt and rub on the surface in a circular motion.  


  2. You simply can't! Once glass is scatched, it STAYES that way, possibly getting bigger and bigger, like when you have a scratch on your car's paint, the scratch is gonna get bigger over time, and eventually rust. Unles you get a new coat, you have to get a new glass and digitizer if it bothers you that much, but it can get costly, and you risk destroying your iPod. The screen isn't plastic people, it's a glass-like material!
