How do you remove spray paint from a cell phone

my cell phone was spray painted, not my me, but i HATE it. i mean, i could live with it, but i don't want to. do you know how to remove spray paint? or am i stuck with it?

I hope this works for you.  Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.  Squeeze as much water out of the eraser before you try to clean your phone.

Since most phones are some kind of plastic, you have to be careful which solvent you use.   Acetone, rubbing alcohol and paint thinner will hurt the plastic.

Most spray paint is NOT a latex-based (water removal) paint.  You could use an orange-oil based cleaner like Desolvit, or Goo-gone.  Put some on a cotton swab and let it soak on a bit of the paint for a few minutes as a test.  If the paint has softened and rubs away but hasn't harmed the plastic phone, then try cleaning more paint off.  Don't spray the phone with any solvent because you might get some in the electronics.
