How do you remove tar from dogs feet?

Our driveway was paved today and the tar from the road is all over my puppys feet. I have tried regular soap and shampoo. I also tried non-toxic "goo gone" nothing is really working?? Is up in the creases of her feet and splattered onto her stomach...PLEASE help!!!

  1. WD40 is the answer.  Non-toxic and removes tar quickly.

    This is one of the many wonderful uses of it. It will also remove adhesive bandages from skin without hurting the skin.

  2. Try butter. i know it sounds greasy and messy, but it helped my dog.

    I used butter, and then soap to remove the butter.

    Hope it will help!

  3. Vegetable oil, will dissolve tar
