How do you remove the dash on a 2007 Chevy uplander to install a new radio?

  1. The plastic simulated wood grain piece surrounding the radio is one piece. Insert a small slotted s***w driver in the crack between the wood piece and the surrounding dash and GENTLY pry it away (towards you) from the dash.
    The radio is held in by 4 or 5 Phillips head screws. remove the screws. Pull the radio out just far enough to get your hand in behind and pull off the big electronic clip connection and the antenna plug. Then remove the radio.
