How do you remove those anti- theft ink tags when they forget to take it off at the sore?

tonight i bought a hoodie at a store and when i got home i realized that the ink tag was still on it. are there any good ways of getting them off? without ink getting everywhere

Did you steal the clothes? Joking. Ok your gonna need some heavy duty wire cutters.

1. find the metal bar

2. pull the shirt as far away from the bar

3. cut the bar

4. cut the bar until done

5. pull both pieces out carefully

6. make sure that no ink had fallen out of the container

7. take it back to the store

take it back to the store you purchased it from with the reciept and have them take it off.  i wouldnt recommend attempting this yourself.

Place the garment in the freezer for awhile - the ink will freeze and you can remove it without having to worry about the ink getting onto the garment. If the tag is magnetic (most are), then run a magnet over it.

There is no way to get it off, you will have to go back to the store where your bought it (bring your receipt) and ask them to remove it for you. I've had this happen once, it's annoying- but they're there for a reason and I wouldn't try removing it and risking ruining your hoodie.
