How do you remove white spots from wood furniture ?

Does anyone know of a remedy using household items? Is mayonnaise a solution for this problem

Mayo works for me too!!  Or you can cover it with a slipcover if it doesn't come out and you want a new look.  If you want to do this, a great site for slipcovers is http://www.allaboutslipcovers.com.  I just bought slipcovers for my old furniture and it looks great!

Mayo may help.  I've used a coating of vaseline on water rings on the coffee table and let sit  for several hours  or over night.  It works for me!

Mayonnaise is perfect, if the white spots are from water.  I have one spot caused by heat and the mayo didn't work for that one.
