How do you remove your searches done through the yahoo search box . not the address bar.?

ex: I type in snakes and every site I ever went to comes up. the more you add the closer it brings you to where you have been . I want to stop this.

  1. You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. Here's how:

    For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.


  2. Tools>Internet Options> Content Tab> Auto Complete> delete

  3. Click Settings tool-button on the new Yahoo! Toolbar http://toolbar.yahoo.com/ and click "Clear Recent Searches".

    That will do it for you.
