I have a few holes that have been made by riding lawnmowers? Can these broken pieces be patched, or do they need to bb replaced? If replaced, how do I remove from under the overlapping pieces without breaking them?

  1. Quit drinking  when youre driving the mower. Patch it. Many products available.

  2. it is easier to replace and paint your siding than it is to patch a hole. patching it doesn't look right.

to remove from under the overlapping sidingyou have to remove the nails from the bottom of the siding you wish to reuse, and pull it outward away from the wall a little and then the siding you wish to replace will come out easily. then you just slide in the new siding and use existing siding still in place to gauge the height of your new peice of siding.

trust me, its easier than it looks and as long as you have nothing that you have to work aroun (such as a water faucet or air conditioning lines) it is a snap to do.

  3. I have done this before, but car bondo at your local auto store mix it per instructions and aplly to hole to be patched. this product dries in about 5 minutes so you must work quickly. It will be ready to sand to your liking in about 20 minutes. It dries hard, waterproof, sandable, and takes paint really good.
